In burst testing, pressure and flow are the controlling variables of the test. Labthink LSSD-01 Burst Tester provides a flow rate into the package that will overcome any losses and increase the internal pressure of the package until it reaches its ultimate strength, at which point it ruptures and the internal pressure drops rapidly. The maximum pressure is then the measured analog of that package’s seal strength.

Also, this instrument can be equipped with a restraint plant for three side sealed packaging.

The internal Pressure can be reached to 0~600 KPa; 0~87.0 psi (standard), of course, customized internal pressure is also available, like 0~1.6 MPa; 0~232.1 psi (optional)
